Larry Grider

As 2020 President, Larry composed this Year's goal/mission statement: "To Improve our Community and Ourselves as we endeavor to Learn about and Participate in the opportunities available to us through the INDIANAPOLIS AMBASSADORS organization." Larry has a long history of civic involvement on the local, National, and International level. His 35 years of experience in the public/private sector, include local president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) and JCI Ambassador to the West Indies -- a transformative experience. Larry's primary goal is to create a more intimate/frequent communication flow between our Board of Directors and our dynamic membership.

I am an accountant and CPA and my community involvement in Indianapolis began over 30 years ago with the Jaycees. I'm a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, serve on the Board of Reach for Youth, and have been active with Boy Scouts. Also an active member at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Married to Judi with a son and daughter in college.


Shari Zee

A lifetime resident of Indianapolis and a big fan of the city. Married with 2 sons. Work as a nurse at Eskenazi Health. Interests include: travel, reading, gardening, knitting, games and puzzles. Love to volunteer at the gala funraisers, art shows and theater events. Volunteer regularly at the Indiana State Museum (a wonderful place, please stop by).

Judy Manges

Retired from a career in office work, mainly in the medical field; currently work part-time delivering vehicles which helps satisfy my need for travel and adventure. Have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity nationally and internationally as well as locally with the Red Cross and other organizations. Have enjoyed my association with Ambassadors volunteering at events and meeting great fellow volunteers.

Louis Zee

Louie Zee was the owner/manager of the Hollywood Shoppe at Greenwood Mall, a gift shop with an entertainment theme which features t-shirts, posters, mugs, lunchboxes, action figures and more. He graduated from Indiana University in 1981 with an MBA. Louie was one of the original Ambassadors in the early '80s, and has previously served on the board as Treasurer and President.

Denise Durham

In 2019, I became a new Board Member serving as the Director of Public Relations for the Indianapolis Ambassadors. Currently, I am also a Director of Quality Assurance for the Food and Beverage industry. I have worked in this industry for over 25 years. To date, my educational background consists of (2) Associates Degrees (Education and General Studies), (1) Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, (1) Masters Degree in Information Systems, (1) MBA in Leadership, and working on my Doctorate in Business Management (Due to graduate August, 2019). I am a member of the Black Engineering Society, Sigma Alpha Pi, American Chemical Society, and on the Indianapolis Circle City Committee. To keep myself sane, I like to go to the movies, snorkel, scuba dive, camp, bike ride and read murder mysteries (my favorite author is James Patterson).

Currently work as a career transition and job coach, a university instructor, and as a representative for energy management firm . Volunteer activities include supporting Noble, Inc., the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the Indianapolis Ambassadors. Have a volunteer alcohol servers license.
