2017 Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival

Jul 8, 2017, 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM

presented by Indy Crit LLC

About the Event

The Indy Criterium Bicycle Festival (Indy Crit) is the biggest bike race and festival in Indiana. Starting small in 2010, with just a few racers and spectators, in 2017, the Indy Crit grew to more than 500 racers and 12,000+ spectators. It is also much more than a bike race, with food trucks, Sun Kink Beer, vendors, bike polo, a BMX show, family rides, a celebrity race and kids activities. This year will also feature the inaugural Bike Parade, led by former Indianapolis mayor (and longtime Indy Crit supporter) Greg Ballard. All proceeds from the event go to Freewheelin’ Community Bikes, and other non-profit organizations in central Indiana.
Many details remain to be worked out for race day, but most importantly, we need YOU! An event like this can’t happen without help from many volunteers. We have over 200 spots to fill in a variety of positions and would love to have you join us on race day.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@indycrit.org.
