Indiana Repertory Theatre – Amber Waves

Apr 18, 2019, 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Hard times mean hard decisions as an Indiana family faces the prospect of losing their farm. This small-town tale returns by popular demand, featuring music by Tim Grimm and Jason Wilbur, with generous helpings of courage, love, and humor. The mission of the Indiana Repertory Theatre is to produce top-quality, professional theatre and related activities, providing experiences that will engage, surprise, challenge, and entertain people throughout their lifetimes, helping us build a vital and vibrant community. We rely on a strong base of volunteer ushers to bring our shows to audiences every night!

Volunteer Details
Volunteering as an usher at the IRT is really simple, and you get the great benefit of being able to watch a performance for free! First, you will sign up for a shift either online with Volgistics or by phone. On the day of your shift, the House Manager on duty will train you and assign you to a position in the theatre. Your duties will include some or all the following: passing out programs, helping patrons find their seats, running coat check, scanning tickets, monitoring patrons for potential issues, stuffing programs, and other related tasks. Those duties will be completed before the show. After the show, we ask that you stay to help pick up trash in the theatre. This usually takes about 15 minutes. All IRT ushers must submit an application to sign up for shifts at this link: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1784133464 Contact Heather Uuk at 317-916-4872, or at huuk@irtlive.com
Volunteer Shift Information
