About the Event
The MK home tour is in its 45th year of celebrating some of the most beautiful and diverse homes in the city. An opportunity to showcase this neighborhood and show architectural styles including colonial, Tudor, modern, bungalows and even Sears Kit Homes. A collection of 8 homes in total are located throughout the mid-town neighborhood dating back to the early 1900’s.

Volunteer Details
Duties include standing in one of homes and acting as a docent to the guests that walk through the homes. There will be “facts” about the home or items within the homes provided for each station.

Volunteer Attire
Nice, but casual. No athletic wear. Nice pants or shorts, collared shirts, sundress, fashion denim, blousou es, slacks. You will likely be standing for the entire 3 hours – comfy shoes are a must!
What’s provided?: Every volunteer will receive free admittance to all of the homes in this year’s tour. A $20 value. You can visit the homes before or after your shift.
