Indiana Artisan Spring Marketplace April 6th & 7th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds
About 90 artisans from across Indiana are expected to showcase their original art, fine craft small-batch food, and locally produced wine, spirits and other beverages. Many will demonstrate their creative process in their booths. Food and beverage producers will offer samples up and down the food aisle. Volunteers are needed from April 4-7 to do a wide variety of easy tasks. In appreciation of your help, enjoy free admission, free parking, light refreshments and a T-shirt.
WYFI's Día del Niño at Be My Neighbor Day! Sat. April 27th at the Central Library
Volunteers are needed to support this family-friendly community event from WFYI. Needs include welcoming and checking in guests, assisting guests with writing and mailing letters, applying temporary tattoos, assisting guests with crafts, helping Daniel Tiger throughout the day, taking photos, and much more!
52nd Annual Broad Ripple Art Fair Sat-Sun 5/18-19 at the Indy Art Center
Volunteer your support for the arts and as shoppers visit 150+ local, regional, and national artists. The OneAmerica Broad Ripple Art Fair is a nationally ranked, highly selective, juried art fair that benefits the Indy Art Center as its largest annual fundraiser.
"We still have lots of volunteer spots open for both Saturday and Sunday so grab your friends and family and sign up. Volunteers get free entry into the Art Fair and a commemorative t-shirt."
Second Helpings
For 25 years, Second Helpings has accepted donated perishable and overstocked food to prepare nutritious meals for thousands of hungry children and adults every day, and distributes them free of charge through local social service agencies in central Indiana. Second Helpings also trains unemployed and underemployed adults for meaningful careers in the culinary industry.
