Join Indy Ambassadors for a Night of Service at Gleansers Food Bank of Indiana. All Indy Ambassadors and Friends WELCOME TO COME!
Gleaners Food Bank works with a network of more than 300 food pantries, soup kitchens, schools, and community partners to fight against food insecurity in Indiana. The Indy Ambassadors have secured an opportunity to assist them in that mission by working with them during one of them upcoming Food Pantry, Drive-Thru distributions. Volunteers will load cars with pre-boxed food and direct traffic for the contactless, drive-thru distribution.
Why is this project important? We’ll serve around 500-600 households during the drive-thru distribution, many of whom are not comfortable with in-person shopping or have disabilities or illnesses that prevent them from coming inside
Date and time of volunteerism: Thursday, October 6th 4:30-8pm at Gleaners Food Bank – 3737 Waldemere Ave, Indpls, IN 46241 Arrive by 4:15pm
