On May 3rd, the Indianapolis Ambassadors will have a great opportunity to learn all about Indy’s Cultural Trail. Ethan Hochstein, Director of Horticulture and Landscaping, will meet us outside the Indianapolis Cultural Trail Inc Headquarters to enlighten us on the significance of Indy’s Cultural Trail. The office is at 132 W. Walnut St.
The Indianapolis Cultural Trail is an 8-mile world class urban bike and pedestrian path in downtown Indianapolis. The trail seamlessly connects neighborhoods, cultural districts and entertainment amenities while serving as the downtown hub for central Indiana’s vast greenway system.
The general meeting will be conducted with limited seating. You can bring a lawn chair, if desired. There will be a 2 block walking tour along the Cultural Trail. There are 8 benches along the route for 2-3 people to sit on at a time.
Come learn how our Cultural Trail has helped make Indianapolis a preferred destination city for many tour companies.
There is ample paid street parking on Capitol Ave., and the Scottish Rite Cathedral has permitted us to use the North end of their parking lot.
If needed, a rain date has been scheduled for the following day.
All are welcome!
