Give the gift of joy and join us in welcoming our neighbors in need for our annual Downtown Y Breakfast with Santa. Every year, the Downtown Y invites local shelters and families in need referred from local schools to a special morning of holiday fun in the beautiful Rathskeller dining room. They eat a hot breakfast and are then invited to shop in our two markets: the parents shop at the Toy Shop and select a gift, book and filled stocking for each of their children, while the children shop in the Mom and Pop Shop to select a gift for a parent or special adult in their life. We provide crafts and entertainment for the kids and end the magical morning with a special visit from Santa. Volunteers arrive at 7:30 am for training and breakfast. We wrap the entire morning up by 12:00. There is an after party at Mass Ave Pub with free beer thanks to Sun King
