Global Village: Dia del Niño Celebration

Join us and partner Bethany Christian Services of Central Indiana for a celebration of Children’s Day. Enjoy a community partners market along with a program of performances by and for children, activities, food, and more! The Global Village Welcome Center needs volunteers like you to make this event a success.

This powerful exhibit captures the historical Black experience in a timeline from the Transatlantic Slave Trade through Black Lives Matter. The timeline features harsh historical content that may be upsetting as well as positive stories from local and national heroes that may be uplifting to viewers.

Our partners at Bethany Christian Services presents a collection of works created by refugee children under their care. The works offer glimpses into the childrens’ lives before and after coming to the US.
