Global Village: African Unity Fest

This annual celebration of Africa Day celebrates each country of Africa and their contributions to the rich culture of the continent. Enjoy a program of performances and food from area African restaurants. Plus, shop in our market featuring African vendors. The Global Village Welcome Center needs volunteers like you to make this event a success.

EXHIBIT Juneteenth

This powerful exhibit captures the historical Black experience in a timeline from the Transatlantic Slave Trade through Black Lives Matter. The timeline features harsh historical content that may be upsetting as well as positive stories from local and national heroes that may be uplifting to viewers.

EXHIBIT Congolese Heritage
Jul 5 — Jul 26
Our partners from the Congolese Community of Indiana (Cocoindiana) present this special exhibit celebrating Congolese heritage. The exhibit will include a selection of cultural artifacts, art, fashion, photography, and more.
