About the Event

Indy VegFest is a free food and lifestyle festival that will take place on April 29th from 12-7 pm at the Pan Am Pavilion in downtown Indianapolis. It is an all vegan event, BUT you don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend! We want omnivores to come out and experience first-hand just how good vegan food can be, in a judgment-free environment. Indy VegFest will feature food and drinks from local restaurants, prizes and giveaways, food samples and cooking demos, fun fitness activities and more.

Volunteer Details

Help with setup on Friday before the event; help with setup and vendor load-in Saturday morning before Noon; monitor recycling and composting bins and answer questions about zero waste approach during the event; volunteer in the Children’s Activity Area during the event; assist chefs during cooking demos at the Cooking Demonstration Station during the event; help with tear down after the event; help vendors load up their vehicles after the event. We are in need of the most help on Saturday between 8-10 am for setup and vendor load-in, as well as Saturday evening between 7-10 pm for vendor load-out, taking down tables, etc. Volunteers get a free t-shirt and goodie bag with coupons, magazines, and samples, and access to the volunteer lounge on the upper level of the Pavilion.

Casual – we will provide Indy VegFest t-shirts to all volunteers.
