About the Event

The Heart & Stroke Ball is a black-tie event that celebrates the life-saving work of the American Heart Association in our community. Our evening of giving features elegant gourmet dining, fun entertainment and interactive auctions. With over 600 guests, we have the opportunity to recognize local researchers, physicians, healthcare providers and survivors of heart disease and stroke.

Volunteer Details

A brief (and tentative) timeline is below. We need volunteers to serve in a variety of roles, including greeter, registration, tribute display, VIP volunteers, auction packaging & tear-down, ballroom hosts and checkout. All volunteers would be asked to dress-up for the event.

*Please note that the JW Marriott is unable to provide complimentary parking in their garage. Alternative parking is available at the Government Center across the street, accessible by sky bridge.

**Volunteers are integral to our success and while we recognize this is a fun event and want volunteers to enjoy their experience, we ask that volunteers refrain from consuming cocktails. We also ask that they refrain from partaking in event festivities until after their duties have concluded.

Dinner will be provided.
