About the Event

Riding bikes to Speedway is much faster, greener, and more fun than driving. IndyCog is hosting bike trains and bike parking for those who ‘get it.” The start will be a festive gathering at the Indy BikeHub (City Market), and then the bike trains will head across 10th St to the parking area at DareDevil Brewery on Main Street in Speedway. Volunteers will help with registration at both venues, and will coordinate bike parking and retrieval at DareDevil. Early shift folks can easily make it to the Race, and late shift folks will get to enjoy the after-party with food, beer, and music.NOTE: Car parking will be at a premium in Speedway, so ride your bike to the venue if you can!

IndyCog Volunteers

 

6:30-10am: Welcome incoming riders, register on-site check-in, park bikes.
(15 volunteers)
10am-2pm: Welcome incoming riders, register on-site check-in, park bikes, release bikes to riders retrieving their bikes. (6 volunteers)
2pm-6pm: Release bikes to riders retrieving their bikes (10 volunteers)

Beer & Food voucher. Free bike parking for volunteers. Free Sunscreen!

Volunteer Attire

Dress for the weather. If you have an IndyCog t-shirt, wear it. Sunscreen.
