Indy Women in Tech Championship presented by Guggenheim is an official LPGA tournament that will feature 144 of the LPGA’s top talent in a three-day stroke-play event (Sept. 7 – 9, 2017) vying for a $2 million purse. The course features four holes inside the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
In addition to bringing the world’s best golfers to Indianapolis, the IWiT Championship will raise funds for the Indy Women in Tech foundation. The foundation, established by Guggenheim, was created to provide awareness and funding for impactful women and tech initiatives, particularly those focused on robotics, STEM days and career transitioning for those re-entering the workforce.

The Indy Women in Tech Championship presented by Guggenheim is looking for 700 + Volunteers for its debut at IMS’ Brickyard Crossing Golf Course Sept. 4 – 9, 2017.
Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles from being a Marshal on course to helping with Hospitality, and so much more. Volunteering provides a unique opportunity to get close access to the top female golfers in the world, chance to meet new friends, all while supporting a great cause.

Shifts vary from Sept. 4 – 9; 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles such as:
Ambassador Volunteers will greet and direct spectators as they arrive on the course. This committee will be available to answer any questions spectators may have regarding the event and help to ensure spectators enjoy the event.
Marshals are located throughout the course with a focus on tees, landing areas, greens and spectator crosswalks. Marshals ensure safety of spectators and players.
Supply Distribution volunteers are responsible for distributing product such as water, soda and snacks throughout the course. This committee is physically demanding.
Each Volunteer is required to purchase a Volunteer Package for $55. Includes:
Two(2) Official Tournament Golf Shirts
One (1) Official Tournament Hat
One (1) Volunteer Badge – Good as Tournament Pass and Parking Pass for Tournament Week
Two (2) Weekly Grounds Badges – For friends or family members
Meals Provided on Scheduled Work Days
