The Sam Costa Half Marathon is the oldest running race in Indiana. 2018 is the 49th anniversary for this race. The race is organized by Indy Runners and Walkers, a not for profit organization. There are typically 1000 runners between the Half and Quarter Marathons. Approximately 150-175 volunteers are needed to provide a safe, stress free race for the participants.
