About the Event

High school marching band competition featuring over 100 bands from around the country. The three day event is broken into prelims, semifinals, and finals competition. Saturday evening finals competition features the 12 highest scoring finalist bands, during which a national champion will be awarded.

Music for All Volunteers

Different positions exist for helping band flow on event level (warm up monitors and general flow support) and selling programs to spectators in the stadium concourse.

Free parking within walking distance of the stadium
Commemorative name badge, program book, and volunteer t-shirt
Free stadium access for the full day that a volunteer works (excluding Saturday finals)
A free concession voucher for volunteers that work two or more consecutive shifts
Two free tickets to Saturday evening finals for volunteers that work two or more shifts

 

Volunteer Attire

Jeans and tennis shoes are acceptable. Volunteers will get a BOA volunteer shirt to be easily identified. While the event is inside, long sleeve and pants are recommended.
