The Center for Performing Arts is a nonprofit organization responsible for the operation and programming of a multidisciplinary performing arts campus in Carmel, IN. The facilities include the Palladium, the Tarkington and the Studio Theater.
In an era of declining resources for arts education, The Center for Performing Arts with their Ushers provides a welcoming environment where the public can engage in real time with live performing arts experiences. They along with the Center bring the world to Indiana in ways that build community, inspire creativity, and ultimately enrich and transform lives and provide the inspiration for youth to pursue the arts.

The National Bank of Indianapolis Usher Corps is the heart of our organization, and these volunteers do more than show people to their seats.
Other roles may include:
- ticket scanner
- tour guide
- gallery guide
- community relations assistant
- and more!

Volunteer Benefits:
- Usher seating at performance (if available)
- Free Parking in Garage or on Street
- Credit for personal tickets
Volunteer Requirements:
- Be 18 or older
- Greet with a smile and walk guests to seats
- Be able to stand for two hours
- Learn theater seating charts
- Dress code: Black Slack/White Tops Usher tie or scarf
- Wear CPA Name Badge
