Exclusive FOX Sports Cares Night Volunteer Opportunity
The Indianapolis Ambassadors have been chosen for a unique opportunity to assist the Indiana Sports Corp. at the Big Ten Championship on the evening of Dec 1, 2023, from 4-8pm at the Indiana Convention Center.
FOX Sports is opening its Fan Fest doors to Special Olympics athletes for clinics and fun. Fourteen escorts are needed to assist athletes and their guests to and from their Fan Fest activities.
We will receive training on the day of the event.
Background and Activities
Over 100 Special Olympics athletes will take part in basketball, football and cheerleader clinics. The cheerleaders will have the opportunity to showcase their routine at a “closing ceremony” where trophies will also be awarded to each participant. The clinics will begin at 5:30 p.m. concluding with a cheer performance and awards program beginning at 7 p.m. The clinic is currently sold-out but open to the public to attend with admission to Fan Fest.

Volunteer Requirements:
- Volunteer will be standing and walking for most of their shift.
- All volunteers in this role are required to clear a background check.
- Wear black or khaki pants (more on the professional side) with closed toe shoes.
- Bring what can be kept on their person as there is limited to no storage for personal items.
