Global Village: Congolese Celebration

Join the Congolese Community of Indiana (Cocoindiana) for a celebration of Congolese culture. Enjoy dance and musical performances, a Congolese dinner, activities, and more! The Global Village Welcome Center needs volunteers like you to make this event a success.

EXHIBIT Juneteenth

This powerful exhibit captures the historical Black experience in a timeline from the Transatlantic Slave Trade through Black Lives Matter. The timeline features harsh historical content that may be upsetting as well as positive stories from local and national heroes that may be uplifting to viewers.

EXHIBIT Congolese Heritage

Our partners from the Congolese Community of Indiana (Cocoindiana) present this special exhibit celebrating Congolese heritage. The exhibit will include a selection of cultural artifacts, art, fashion, photography, and more.
