About the Event

The Annual Academy Meeting brings together nearly 500 Indiana, Midwest, and national leading and emerging scientists, graduate and undergraduate science students, science educators, and science enthusiasts, to share some of this nation’s latest developments in scientific research and science education. The Meeting offers a whole day of Indiana Science: Oral and Poster research presentations, Workshops, Hot topics, and Awards.

Volunteer Details

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with registrants finding rooms and locations within the meeting
• Assisting with registration, setup, and take-down

Morning and mid-day shifts will involve either registration, setup, or facilitation of participants to locations within the meeting.

Mid-day and afternoon volunteers will be mostly involved in helping participants find their meeting rooms, and assist with regulated entry into the lunch session.

Later, volunteers will assist with take-down and monitoring the afternoon poster session.

Provided: T-shirts, and parking validation. If present for morning and mid-day shift, lunch will be provided.

T-shirts will be provided. Dark pants/slacks or skirt.
