About the Event

Mixture is a two day event, Friday and Saturday September 16th and 17th. Georgia street center block serves as registration for participants. There will be music, food, and breweries serving samples of beer and beer based cocktails. Once registered, people are welcome to stay on Georgia Street until they want to utilize shuttle bus services that are provided to be dropped off at strategically place drop/pick up points around downtown in the four participating neighborhoods of Fountain Square, Fletcher Place, Mass Ave and Wholesale District. We’ve partnered with 20 different restaurants and bars in these neighborhoods and your “Mixture Passport” entitles you to a sample classic cocktail at each restaurant and bar.

Volunteer Details

Volunteers will be assigned to one of the participating restaurants/bars where they will receive participants, stamp their Mixture Passport and give them a cocktail sample tickets. Volunteers must be 21, but they need not have a alcohol service permit as they will not be touching or serving any alcohol beverages. WE ONLY NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER the 17th at this point.

Volunteers should arrive on Georgia Street at 4:00 for information, materials (ink pad, drink tickets, etc). We will shuttle bus or volunteers can drive themselves to their assigned account. Volunteers will conclude their shift at 10:00 pm as that is when the promotion ends at the participating bars and restaurants.

Mixture t-shirt and 2 free tickets to enjoy the promotion on Friday. Tickets are valued at $50 a ticket. Inexpensive parking is available at circle city mall.

Volunteer Attire

Jeans or shorts, very casual. We will give volunteers a Mixture t-shirt to wear during the promotion.
