Get the Training to be Part of the Red Cross’ Disaster Action Team
The Disaster Action Team Specialist is one of the most-needed volunteers in Indiana. The DAT Specialist Team Member responds with a team to assist clients affected by a disaster. They help interview clients, issue disaster relief supplies, support on-scene assessment, and provide drinks and snacks to clients.
“Our disaster team members respond to all types of disaster. This training is the first start. People who attend this one-day training are then trained to respond to fires.” says Leslie Montgomery, Regional Disaster Officer
