About the Event
Now in its 17th year, this popular MidTown music and art festival is located in a six-acre park in the center of Rocky Ripple.Free event! 70 artists. 6 bands. Local food, beer, wine. Creative kids? activity area.
High energy, fun day for all ages. Voted the best family festival of its kind in Indianapolis.

Volunteer Details
ARTIST AREA: 12 – 3 and 3-6 2 positions per shift Assist artists by taking water to them. Look after their booth while they’re taking necessary breaks. Hand out and collect evaluation sheets.
CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY AREA: 11 – 2 and 2 – 5 6 positions per shift Help oversee creative activities such as sand sculpture building, art designs on canvas pendant flags for take-home or permanent display at yearly festivals, hooping, bubble station, assist at Indy Science booth, playground safety, drum circle set up.
PAVILION: 11 – 2 and 2 to 5 and 5 to 7 1 to 2 positions per shift Keep tables and area clean
RAFFLE: 11:30 TO 2:30 AND 2:30 TO 5:00 1 to 2 positions per shift Mingle with festival goers and sell raffle tickets
RECYCLE/COMPOST: 12 to 3 and 3 to 6 3 positions per shift Separate recycle from waste and manage corncob toss and take corncobs to compost pile in community garden
FLOATERS: 12 to 3 and 3 to 6 2 to 4 positions per shift. Check in with volunteer coordinator to see what area might need help
One free raffle ticket provided.
Light meal (hot dogs, chips, soda, water) provided.
Free on street parking or free bicycle parking.

Weather appropriate casual. Festival in the Park atmosphere
