The Salvation Army: 75th Celebration of the Harbor Light Center

The community is invited to join the 75th celebration of the Harbor Light Center on September 14 at the Indiana War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis from 10am-4pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the community event which includes vendors, community resources, food, and activities for all ages.
Celebrate with us as we feature inspiring testimonials from individuals who have successfully completed our program and showcase the remarkable achievements of our center. Connect with a variety of community resources and enjoy a family friendly experience designed to support those struggling with substance use disorder and other addictions. Don’t miss this opportunity to honor our past, celebrate our present, and support a brighter future for our community.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with set up, distributing information, monitoring activities, clean up, etc. We have two volunteer shifts available with the first one from 8am-12:30pm, and the second one from 12-5pm. Please wear comfortable clothing, water and snacks will be available, and anyone volunteering under 18 years of age is asked to have an adult present at all times.
