About the Event

TURN out for Circle City’s celebration of urban sustainability – farm, food, health and environment. This day long event focuses on sustainable and healthier lifestyle practices with over 50 hands-on demonstrations, exhibits, children’s activities, music and food.

Turn Festival Volunteers

Exhibitor Assistants
As exhibitors arrive in the morning, volunteers will help them sign in, unload materials from their vehicles, and find their booth.
Please note: This shift will require some lifting and carrying

Exhibitor Assistants – Captain
Captains will lead Exhibitor Assistants in the above activities.

Set Up
Volunteers are needed to help with the event set-up in the morning. Please note: This shift will require some lifting and carrying.

“Runners”
A number of volunteers are needed throughout the day to assist vendors, restock supplies and help as needs arise.

“Runners” – Captain
Captains will lead the “Runners” in the above activities.

Area Assistants
We are in need of a few volunteers to assist with different areas of the festival to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Areas include music, food, and program presenters.

Area Assistants – Captain
Captains will lead Area Assistants in the above activities.

Greeters
These volunteers will be at the entry points and Information Booths within the event to help greet guests and share
information about event activities.

Greeters – Captain
Captains will lead Greeters in the above activities.

Parking Assistants
A few volunteers are needed to help direct visitors to designated parking locations.  We are looking for friendly,
outgoing volunteers who don’t mind being on their feet for a while!

Parking Assistants – Captain
Captains will lead Parking Assistants in the above activities.

Tear Down
Volunteers are needed to help with general event clean-up at the end of the day.
Please note: This shift will require some lifting and carrying.

T-Shirt, water, snack and parking provided.

Volunteer Attire

Casual – an event T-shirt is provided.
