Group Volunteer Opportunity - Indiana Diaper Bank |
I had the opportunity to volunteer with the Indiana Diaper Bank a few years ago. It was a chill, fun experience. There were several tables, each with a different size diaper that needed sorting and packing. We were able to sit and chat enjoying each other’s company while performing a needed service to help the diaper bank with their mission to eliminate diaper need in our community by providing a reliable and adequate supply of diapering essentials. At the end of the volunteer event, the total number of diapers packed was shared with the group so we could understand the impact of our time in service. If you’d like to join a group of Ambassadors for a volunteer event at the Indiana Diaper Bank, please fill out the volunteer interest form. Another way to support the Indiana Diaper Bank is via the 5th annual #ShareTheLove Diaper Drive. The goal is to raise $30,000 (120,000 diapers) to help over 4,800 families in need. The drive ends 12/31. Please donate if you can. Nikki Wenck, MemberIndianapolis Ambassadors c/o volunteeradmin@indyambassadors.org |
