Hello fellow Ambassadors, I am so excited to be back home in Indiana, after a 4 month stay in Australia to catch up with family and friends there. Indianapolis Ambassadors is such fun aspect of my life here, as well as gives me a sense of purpose and contribution. I have already completed a volunteer role at the 500 Festival … one of the Education Days. I have another role lined up for Earth Day … plus will help with the Rookie Run for the 500 Festival on May 10. There are so many options and they all provide an opportunity to meet new people and see the joy of the event participants. In addition to volunteering, I am also looking forward to the Brozzini Pizza night Social Event on May 16 and the Volunteer Appreciation Day at the IMS on May 17. Hanging out with other Ambassadors is always a fun time. I hope to catch up with those of you whom I already know and meet the new members who have joined in recent months. Feel free to reach out to me, if you have questions on how best to connect and participate.Best regards … or as the Aussies say… CHEERS! Sally Dietzler, Member |

Volunteer ushers needed for the Indianapolis Opera's production of "West Side Story". This musical, which opened on Broadway We need 6 to 8 ushers each night to provide our patrons with the very best customer service experience they have come to expect from us. This is also a wonderful opportunity for YOU to see (free of charge) this amazing production . There will be standing involved, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. The Bicentennial Pavilion is mostly covered, but be sure to dress according to the weather. We would prefer Black bottoms and white tops. The shows begin at 7:00pm, so we would like our ushers to arrive by 5:30pm. Parking will be paid for by Indianapolis Opera. We will also ask that those who are able , attend a volunteer orientation at the Zoo on Monday, May 5th from 2-4pm. |
